Nytef Plastics, Ltd. announced the
appointment of several key individuals to their sales staff:
David Griffith has been appointed to the newly created
position of Territory Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic States.
Based in West Chester, PA, Griffith will have sales responsibility
for the states of Virginia, W. Virginia, Maryland,
Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Western New York
State and Western Ontario, Canada.
Brad Wilson has been appointed to the position of
Territory Sales Manager, Southeastern States. Based at
Nytef ’s Atlanta, GA Customer Fulfillment Center, Wilson
will assume sales responsibility for the states of Alabama,
Florida, Georgia, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, and eastern
Tennessee.
Ellen Witherspoon has been appointed to the position
of Special Projects Coordinator, based at Nytef’s
Bensalem, PA Customer Fulfillment Center.
Roger Vinton has joined SCM Group USA as an outside
sales agent responsible for CNC
Router and Panel Saw sales in the
Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Vinton brings a diverse background
in machinery sales for cutting plastics.
William M. Lowman has been
named President and CEO of CYRO
Industries,
one of the world's largest
manufacturers of methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA), acrylic molding and extrusion compounds,
and acrylic sheet products.
Recognizing the growing importance of industrial
designers in specifying materials for new products,
Eastman Chemical Company has named Gaylon White
to the newly created position of Manager, Design Industry
Programs.
DYMAX Corporation, manufacturer of advanced
assembly adhesives and adhesive curing systems, is
announcing restructuring of responsibilities in its Sales
and Marketing areas to better respond to its rapidly
changing global business. Key new appointments include
Dr. Jeff Payne to the position of Sr. Vice President of
Marketing, and Richard Golebiewski to the position of
Sr. Vice President of Sales.
The board of governors of theNational Plastics Center & Museum
(NPCM) has elected G. Watts
Humphrey, Jr. as the new Chairman.
Humphrey will assume the position in
October, replacing Peter Bemis at the
end of the current three-year term.
The Association of Woodworking
& Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS®)
announced the appointment of Jeff
Oliverson of Atlantic Machinery and
Omga, Inc. as the Chair of the 2005 AWFS®Fair
Committee.

King Plastic Corporation announced the appointment
of Bill Crane of ConQuest Plastics Inc. as the newest
member to King’s Manufacturer’s Representative
sales network. ConQuest Plastics will be responsible for
sales in the Southeast covering the states of NC, SC, GA,
AL and FL.
Plastic Solutions, Inc. is the new name for the
Manufacturer’s Representative’s agency previously
known as Hartwell Associates, Inc. The agency was founded
by Bob Hartwell in 1987; the name change reflects the
sales philosophy and much broader scope of the firm,
having expanded to a 5-person agency covering the
Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest areas of the USA, as
well as Eastern Canada. Plastic Solutions, Inc. is comprised
of Russ Consentino, Mike Delladio, Craig Miller
and Nik Taritas; Bob Hartwell remains active as a consultant
to the firm.
S & L Plastics, Inc. announced their signing with Pace
Sales & Marketing as Manufacturers’ Representatives.
S & L is partnering with Pace to sell and service current
polyolefin based .018” to .25” thick custom sheet products
and Nylaflow and Nylatron stock extrusions.
