Improved Thermoforming Machinery
MAAC has
integrated
several new
standards
into its thermoforming
machinery. All machines
have been
redesigned
with even
larger main-frames
and structural components. Platen structures,
speeds and higher pressures have also been enhanced for
the increasing demand for higher pressures.
All Electric Machines; All MAAC’s incorporate new variable
speed motor driven platen & lift table drives. All
rotaries come standard with variable speed electric index
drives for longer lasting, faster and more precise machine
operation. All motors are equipped with absolute
encoders allowing operators to store all settings for each
product they manufacture.
- A new TEC 480-oven control system was developed
together with Siemens. The solid-state, 480-volt device
expands the operator’s ability to perform remote diagnostics,
such as pinpointing defective fuses and heater
elements. This system saves oven component space by
50% and greatly reduces any maintenance.
- A new swing arm (flat panel-Liquid Crystal Display
screen) console, with updated Windows based controls
allows the operator more space and more control of the
machines functions.
- The new adjustable clampframes reduce set up time to
5 minutes per station, with no tools required. It also
eliminates the need to “line-up” clampframes with every
tool. This feature greatly reduces machine downtime
and can be retrofitted to any make of machinery.
- Variety of optional quick mold change features to
reduce set up times and increase production time.
