CNC Router for Trimming Thermoformed Parts
CMS North America, Inc.’s new THESIS machining center
is designed to meet the needs of thermoformers
and plastic fabricators.
All THESIS machining centers
have an 177” x 59” cast iron
table with supports
that have
threaded holes
for securing fixtures,
a removable
central
shield for pendular
machining and the following
axes strokes and quick positioning
speeds: X=165.35” / 3,150” per minute,
Y=59.05” / 3,150” per minute, Z=31.49” / 1,450” per
minute, B=+/- 160° / 12,000° per minute and
C=450° / 12,000° per minute.
THESIS machining centers have a heat-treated, stress-relieved,
monoblock base that reduces vibration. The standard perimeter safety cabin is designed for operator
safety and noise reduction during machining. Three different
5-axis working units are available: a TU - 1.2 hp
single exit electrospindle, air-cooled, maximum speed:
40,000 rpm; a R3 - three 1.0 hp single exit electrospindles
in a revolver placed 120º apart, air-cooled, maximum
speed: 24,000 rpm; or a TUCU - 4.8 hp single exit
electrospindle with automatic toolchanging ability and six-place
toolchanging rack, air-cooled, maximum speed:
24,000 rpm.
