Duct Hangers

A new, low-cost polypropylene monofilament duct hanger that now comes in two sizes for hanging flexible dust collection hose and HVAC ducting has been intro- duced by Nelco Products, Inc.

Nelco DuctMaster™ Support Strap is a polypropylene monofilament webbing that will not rust and now comes in 1 3/4” and 3” wide sizes, in black and silver color, for hanging all types of plastic hose and ducting. Easy to install by nail onto wood support members or by riveting or stapling around a steel rod, this strong and flexible webbing meets UL723 burn test requirements.

Designed to withstand movement caused by positive air pressure, the support strap readily conforms to the shape of hose and ducting. Featuring 640 pounds tensile strength, the 3” wide size handles larger hose and the 1 3/4” wide size features 450 pounds tensile strength for securing most common ductwork. Both are water-, chemical- and corrosion-resistant.
