The Pro Series was specifically designed for demanding customers from industries such as plastic and acrylic fabrication, solid wood working and metal working. The base construction of the Pro is welded from heavy steel tubes 10” x 14” x 1/2”, stress-relieved and machined. Superior stability of the gantry is due to the 10” x 10” x 0.6” steel tube cross section. The gantry has a standard 8” Z-height clearance and can be upgraded to 11” for special processing such as injection molding or vacuum forming. Multiple heads, auto tool changers, stronger spindles or add-ons such as drills or tapping heads are just a few of the various options available. The table top is either an aluminum T-slot for mechanical hold down or a phenolic grid for vacuum hold down. The Pro, like all the FlexiCAM machines, is issued with a standard Servo controller, but can be upgraded to an Advanced Control System, allowing for even more functionality and features.
