Laird Plastics, the largest independent distributor of semi-finished plastic shapes and parts in North America, has been purchased by an affiliate of Blackfriars Corporation, a privately held, US based company.

Laird Plastics’ President and Chief Executive, Mark Kramer, said in an announcement to employees: “Laird Plastics could not have found a more compatible group to join in terms of continuing the initiatives and methods and business model that are the core of The New Laird Plastics.
