New PVDF Capacity

Semiconductor and Electronics Industries will benefit by Compression Polymers Corp’s added capacity for specialty polymer sheets, such as extruded flat PVDF. Compression Polymers Corp has a new extruder which can now efficiently meet the demand for up to 1/2” thick, 48” x 96” or 48” x 120” sheets. The production of extruded sheet is in addition to the compression molding operation that continues to produce heavy gauge plate from 5/8” to 2 1/2”. Therefore, CPC now has the ability to service the complete market for 1/8” through 2 1/2” thick plate.

CPC, together with its sister company Vycom Corp, produce a range of plastic sheet products including Homopolymer PP; Copolymer PP; HDPE; HDPE Pipe grade; cutting board stock; Flametec™ CP7-0; Cleanroom PVC-C; Flametec™; CPVC (made.from Corzan 4910); PV-C Type I and high impact Type II; Corzan CPVC; Celtec® Displayboard and Ultra White PVC.
