Additions to Acrylics Sheet Line
Plaskolite, Inc. recently introduced four new products to
its OPTIX® AR Abrasion Resistant line of continuously
processed acrylic sheets.
Each of the new OPTIX AR formulations
offer maximum protection, even in the most
rugged conditions,
maintaining its “like
new” appearance in
interior and/or exterior
applications.
OPTIX AR is available
in sheet thickness
of .060” to
.250” and in a standard
sheet size of 4’
x 8’, with custom
sizes available. The
abrasion resistant
coatings are available
on one or both
sides of the sheet.
The new formulations
are: OPTIX
Abrasion Resistant Weatherable Acrylic Sheet, with outstanding
scratch resistance, optical clarity and surface
smoothness under intense UV exposure. Weatherable
Acrylic Sheet is commonly used for outdoor signage, bus
shelters, shopping cart holders, architectural safety and
other glazing. OPTIX Abrasion Resistant Anti-Static
Acrylic Sheet, with superior resistance to and control of,
electrostatic discharge. Anti-Static is used for high-tech
electronics such as LCDs, projection TV screens, instrument
clusters and cell phone displays. OPTIX Abrasion
Resistant Optical Grade Acrylic Sheet has brilliant optical
performance in a lightweight and highly durable
sheet. It is the preferred material for high-tech electronics
such as LCD displays, projection TV screens and multimedia
displays, as well as museum cases and OPTIX
Abrasion Resistant Non-Glare Acrylic Sheet which combines
abrasion and chemical resistance with a mechanical
non-glare sheet for brilliant appearance and easy
viewing that resists scratching. It is ideal for picture
framing, P.O.P. displays, signs and directories, store fixtures
and optical screens.
