Acrylic Sheet for Merchandising Display Projection Screens
Altuglas International, a business
of Arkema, has introduced Plexiglas®
Vision acrylic sheet, the latest innovation
for overhead and rear projection
screens used in retail displays,
museums,
showrooms and theaters.
Half the weight of glass and easy
to fabricate, the sheet allows very
light screens to be designed in
uniquely creative shapes. With a
three-fold gain in image brightness
and a very high contrast ratio, this
high-grade acrylic sheet delivers
breathtaking images that are visible
from every angle, up-close, far away, one-side or both.
Beyond unconventional video and graphic effects for commercial
and retail environments, the acrylic sheet also
enables unique indoor architecture and spectacular
murals.
Four versions of the Plexiglas Vision product are currently
available: white for holographic
effects, two types of gray; for one- or
two-sided viewing and colorless heavy
matte finish on both sides to resist
impact, scratches and fingerprints.
“With striking colors, a sharp image,
large formats and wide angles, Plexiglas
Vision acrylic sheet delivers the next
generation of high-impact visual communications
technology to the point-of-purchase
marketplace,” said Vince Casmirri,
Marketing Manager. “Its light weight
and easy fabrication features also open
a world of creative styling and merchandising
possibilities for achieving more drama and a significant
competitive advantage.”
