Hurricane Shutters

Annual hurricane damage results in the need to protect business and personal property windows. Clear View Manufacturing Corp. manufactures hurricane shutters to withstand the harsh inclement weather that hurricane season brings.

The hurricane shutters are thermoformed using Makrolon® Polycarbonate Sheet, extruded by Sheffield Plastics Inc., a Bayer Material- Science Company. The sheet offers exceptional weatherability, impact resistance and is easily fabricated. Makrolon Polycarbonate Sheet also offers a limited warranty.

The Clear View hurricane shutters have passed rigorous testing by the State of Florida HVHZ and Dade County and all applicable tests for the Texas Department of Insurance and NAMI.
