New 3-Axis Router

The DMS model D3 is a completely ball screw driven 5’ x 10’ moving gantry. The fixed screw spinning ball nut design greatly improves rigidity and cut quality while providing rapid travel speeds of up to 2,200 inches per minute without the maintenance associated with rack and pinion drive systems. The D3 utilizes a 7 station rack tool changer and automatic tool length sensor for flexibility and fast setup. The vacuum table is offered in a 5 zone arrangement with automatic zone control allowing for machining various size sheets.

The Fagor 8055i controller offers a high speed network connection, hard drive, USB port and RAM memory for onboard program storage. The telediagnostics feature allows remote access to the machine for troubleshooting. All axes are coupled to AC digital brushless servo motors and drives.

The DMS D3 has a standard 10” of Z axis travel and clearance especially useful when machining 3 dimensional parts.
