Electrofusion Welding Unit
Anew electrofusion welder for PE, PP and PVDF pipes
that automatically sets up the welding parameters and monitors and records the welding process is being introduced by Malcom Company, Inc.
The Hurner Electrofusion Welding Unit is designed for PE, PP and PVDF pipes and includes an intuitive user menu, large LCD display, electrodes and a bar-scanning probe that automatically sets up welding parameters and identifies the pipe, fittings and welder. Capable of generating several reports including commission number, two user defined comment fields, pipe and fitting codes, GPS coordinates and ISO welder ID code, the unit is equipped with a USB port for uploading data and is Windows® compatible. Designed for weld pipe fittings up to 28” diameter, it weighs just 35 pounds, operates on 110/ 230V and is supplied complete in a heavy-duty metal carrying case. Literature is available and distributor inquiries are invited.
