Buyer Registration Opens for IWF 2008
IWF 2008 online registration for buyers/attendees
opened in January at www.iwfatlanta.com. By registering
in advance, buyers pay $15 and save $10 over the on-site
registration fee, plus have the added convenience of having
their badges mailed to them in advance of the show.
The International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture
Supply Fair-USA® 2008 will be held Wednesday to
Saturday, August 20 to 23, 2008, at the Georgia World
Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. More than 1,300
exhibitors will display the newest technology in machinery,
supplies and services for woodworking and related industries
in more than 800,000 net square feet of space.
Displays will include more than 200 international companies
and more than 140 first-time exhibitors in key market
segments.
Buyer hotel reservations also opened in January, and
full information on discounted hotel rooms, air travel and
rental cars will be available on the IWF website.
IWF is the industry’s largest show in the Western
Hemisphere and the second largest in the world. More than
43,000 visitors from over 80 countries and all 50 states,
including 25,000 buyers, are expected to attend the Fair.
The 2008 Fair will showcase a Technical Conference providing
real answers from industry leaders including, for the
first time, a program targeting companies that work with
plastics, “Effective CNC Processing of Advanced Materials
and Plastics.”
