New CAD/CAM Software for ShopBot

ShopBot Tools has teamed with Vectric, developers of affordable, innovative CNC software, to create PartWorks and PartWorks3D. PartWorks design and toolpathing software and PartWorks3D milling software replace ShopBot’s previous design package and are included with every new ShopBot CNC system. Upgrades to the PartWorks package are available for current ShopBot users.

The software is a user-friendly CAD/CAM program that allows users to design and create part files, ready to cut on any ShopBot CNC system. It is easy to learn and use and features accurate design tools, impressive toolpathing functionality and detailed three-dimensional previews in a simple, intuitive interface. PartWorks3D creates 3D cutting files from models created in a 3D modeling program, downloaded from the web or scanned from an existing part. Models can be machined with one, two or four sides or sliced to create more depth.

PartWorks was developed for ShopBot by Vectric, Ltd. and is based on their popular V-Carve Pro and Cut3D Software.
