UHMW-PE Shapes

Artek Inc., manufacturers of Duravar® UHMW-PE shapes, has published their new Product Guide Brochure featuring their full line of sheet, rod and profiles. Most standard items such as rod, flat stock, Quarter Sheet and Half Sheet ^Plus and now Full Sheet are available from inventory in standard 10’ lengths. All can be extruded to any length on special order. Extruded rod stock is available from 1/4” to 10” in 120” lengths and is available up to 40’ lengths. Dowelled rod is available in 1” to 3” diameter in 120” lengths and up to 20’ lengths.

The standard color on most virgin products is natural. Virgin and reprocessed materials are also available in selected colors. A wide variety of special colors and FDA colors are also available.

Artek offers modified and enhanced formulations that include UV-stabilization, static reduction, improved coefficient of friction and increased abrasion resistance.

Artek’s engineering staff is available to provide technical assistance in designing a special profile related to cost efficient tooling and productions.
