Reclosable Fasteners

Modified acrylic adhesive bonds with little or no surface preparation 3M introduced 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners with high strength adhesive.

Dual Lock reclosable fasteners utilize 3M™ VHB™ Tape technology for adhering on contact to HSE and most LSE plastics, metals, powder coated surfaces and more, without surface priming or abrading. The fasteners provide reliable attachment for indoor and outdoor applications, and in high heat and humidity. Dual Lock reclosable fasteners from 3M are designed with hundreds of mushroom-shaped stems that interlock when pressed together, providing enough strength to replace mechanical fasteners in many applications. The fasteners can be readily opened and closed, and the parts can be attached and detached for hundreds of closures.
