Interstate Plastics announced the addition of Mike
McKenna Sales Representative for Southern California.
McKenna has over 8 years of sales experience in the plastics
distribution industry and additional time spent selling
machined parts with a high tech machine shop in the
SoCal region. Interstate’s Kent, WA branch has added
Maureen “Dodge” Marshall to their Inside Sales staff.
Marshall has spent many years in the industrial sales
arena in the Seattle market and has a proven track record
in customer sales and service.
AmeriLux International LLC announced the addition of
Cassie Geiger to their customer service and marketing
team. Cassie has over 25 years experience in account and
project management as well as graphic design.
Palram announced the addition of
Charlene Riegger as the new
Marketing Specialist. Riegger will be
assisting the current Marketing
Director, Stan Schultz, in the marketing
efforts to further the Palram
brand in the various markets served.
CO-EX Corporation announced a
re-organization of its sales team. The
changes to the sales structure will
focus their resources to provide more support to the distribution,
OEM and the Greenhouse segments while
increasing our presence in a number of strategic markets
and geographies. Janice Pravorne will assume the new
role of Horticultural Sales Manager, Janice will take this
leadership role in supporting our greenhouse and grower
customer base in North America. The Leading Edge
Marketing Group is appointed sales representative in WA,
OR, ID, CA, NV, AZ, CO and the Canadian Province of B.C.,
The Tandem Group is appointed in WI, MO, MN, IL, IN,
OH, MI, KS, NE. Dave Murphy will continue his sales role
in the eastern U.S and Canada and has expanded his territory
to include the states of FL, GA, NC, SC, MS, AL, TN.
SIMONA America recently completed an upgrade of all
interior lights, saving energy and reducing the company’s
carbon footprint. The new high-efficiency lights have slashed
the energy requirement for lighting by 60% versus the previous
light fixtures, and will reduce the amount of carbon
dioxide generated to light the facility by nearly 500 metric
tons per year. In addition to new lights, motion sensors were
also installed in several areas of the factory and the office to
further reduce energy demands when areas are unoccupied.
The project was completed in less than two weeks and
many old fixtures could be retrofitted with new bulbs, minimizing
the waste generated.
