In Memoriam The plastics distribution community has lost an Icon
with the passing of Norman Drucker. Drucker died June
18 after a long illness. He was 73 years old. Drucker and
his partner Alex Gabay were the co-founders of AIN
Plastics. The business was started in 1970 and based in
New York city. It was sold to ThyssenKrupp in 1996.
Drucker's passion for the business, his management
style and high standards of excellence are still being followed
today. The many successful employees he developed
owe much of their success to him. We offer the deepest
condolences to his family, he will be greatly missed.
