Kevin Britt joined RTape Corp. in
South Plainfield, NJ as Regional
Sales Manager for the northeastern
U.S. territory and eastern Canada. In
his new position, Britt will support
distributor sales efforts providing
technical and sales training.
KYDEX, LLC
announced
that it has appointed two new territory sales
managers to support growing North
American business. William T. White, Jr.
will serve clients in the
Southern California, Southern
Nevada and Arizona regions, and
Stephen Sieger will represent
clients in Florida.
White has three decades of experience
working in the plastics industry
and has previously served as branch
manager at Port Plastics, Inc., distributor
business manager at Evonik
Degussa Corporation and director of
sales at Triad Plastics.
Sieger has more than 15 years of
industry experience, including an
extensive industrial sales experience
in the Florida territory.
KYDEX also announced that it has
appointed Mike Karrto Director of Operations. Karr, who previously
served as North America Business
Manager at KYDEX, will be responsible
for daily operations for the global
plastic manufacturer. In this role,
he will streamline operations and
drive efficiency as the company continues
to expand into new verticals
and geographic markets.
Primex Plastics Corporation
announced that they have added
Mike Wilbur to the Inside Sales
team at their Mesquite, Nevada facility.
Wilbur is has over 20 years of
experience in the plastics industry.
SCM Group, leading Italian manufacturer
of high technology equipment
for woodworking, finishing,
plastic, stone and glass application,
has announced Max Salmi as
Marketing Operation Manager for North America and the
Mexico territory. Salmi joins SCM Group with over eighteen
years in the marketing and visual communication
fields, five of which was spent marketing high technology
equipment for an Italian woodworking machinery manufacturer.
Scott Doherty has been promoted
to eastern regional sales manager for
Bayer MaterialScience LLC, effective
immediately. In this role, he will
lead all field sales and commercial
activities for Makrolon® sheet products
in the Eastern U.S. region.
Doherty joined Bayer nearly 12 years
ago as Northeast District Sales
Manager, and worked with the distribution
network and OEM accounts
for sheet products in that territory. Doherty will be based
in the Sheffield, Massachusetts headquarters offices.
Polymics, Ltd. welcomes Eri Huang as the newest member
of their family. Huang has been hired as Project
Manager. She will be working intensively with various
groups within the company to design and document workflow,
track and analyze trends within each separate business
unit, and make appropriate recommendations that
will positively impact operational effectiveness and
improve efficiencies of those respective units. Karr has
more than 26 years of experience in both management
and operations in the manufacturing industry.
Palram Americas, a leading manufacturer
of polycarbonate and PVC
product lines, is pleased to
announce the addition of Keith
DeGroat
to its Building Material
division. DeGroat will be responsible
for managing the Northeast region
and will be driving Palram’s initiatives
on brand recognition and pull
through business.
Multiplastics, a woman-owned,
family business, celebrates 60 years in the thermoforming
industry. Founded by Robert F. Curd and Dorothy K.
Dailey in Chicago with a primary focus on fiberglass billboards
and product displays, the company moved to
Charleston, SC in 1965. In 1979 Curd’s daughter,
Deborah Herbert, joined the company and in 1986
became president. The problem solving team of staff and
engineers at Multiplastics works closely with customers to
create plastic packaging, skins, containers and more.
