Greenhouse Covering
Palram Americas, a leading manufacturer of polycarbonate and PVC sheets, is pleased to announce the new product DynaGlas® SolarSoft™ MAX, a corrugated polycarbonate panel that allows up to 90% light transmission with up to 90% haze value. Coextruded UV protection, anti-condensate, and virtually unbreakable, the material blocks out UV and far IR radiation while letting in the valuable PAR light that plants need.

DynaGlas SolarSoft MAX is also corrugated, which contributes to the panel having the highest Daily Light Integral (DLI) by allowing more light, more often into the greenhouse. Flat greenhouse coverings and corrugated coverings let in about the same amount of light when the sun it at its highest. But, at sunrise and sunset, much of the light on the flat covering is reflected away from the interior of the greenhouse. The corrugations allow light to be refracted into the building, resulting in up to 20% more light during those low sun angle times.
