Wegener Welding LLC has completed another successful round of DVS certification courses with a number of former participants returning for re-certification to keep their certified welding status current. For more than 17 years, this program has been a successful joint effort between Wegener Welding LLC and the renowned SKZ group (Sueddeutsches Kunststoffzentrum, www.skz.de) from Würzburg, Germany.

Attendees from a variety of backgrounds and industries came from around the world to take part in this popular event. Although most participants opt to take the internationally recognized DVS Certified Welder examinations, a few attend strictly for the wealth of knowledge presented. From fabricators and supervisors to application specialists and design engineers, attendees depart at the end of the week more conscience and confident in their constructions.

In addition to the annual DVS certification course, Wegener Welding LLC offers instructional courses in hot gas hand welding, hot gas extrusion welding, butt fusion as well as socket fusion throughout the year at their facility or your facility tailored to fit your specific application. Many companies opt for this type of training as an integral part of their qualification program according to the American Welding Society’s B2 document.

Wegener Welding LLC has the ability to do process validation in-house for all thermoplastics welding technologies.
