Sign & P.O.P. Spotlight
Engravable Polymer Sheet
King ColorCore® is a versatile, environmentally stabilized sheet with multiple layers of contrasting colors. Its thin cap layers and bright primary colors make it ideal for signage, marine, playground and recreational applications. For maximum versatility, standard colors are made to coordinate with King ColorBoard®.
King ColorCore® is easy to engrave and machine, as the cap is approximately .050” thick. King ColorCore® is made with high-impact-resistant polymer to handle more abuse than conventional sign materials. It will not warp, rot or delaminate.
King ColorCore® is a superior homogeneous sheet, made with a unique state-of-the-art continuous process called Polyfusion, and manufactured to the highest standards in the industry. Base materials are FDA approved.

New Breed of PVC
Palram’s fiery-eyed, tattooed zebra was a showstopper at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, just a few weeks ago. The new breed was discovered by hundreds of curious attendees - new breed of PVC, that is. The zebra head was fabricated using one continuous piece of 4’ x 8’ Palboard3D. It was printed, cut, v-grooved and cold-bent and assembled with just tabs and slots. No adhesives, Velcro or fasteners were used. The unique properties of Palboard3D is opening the way for mega-creativity when designing POP and retail displays. The beauty of the substrate is its high white point, ultra-smooth surfaces, its amazing flexibility and structural rigidity. Design it, print it, cut and v-groove it, ship it flat, assemble, dissemble and reassemble. There’s nothing else like it. Industry experts see it as an alternative to Aluminum Composite Material (ACM).

Inserts for Plastic Assemblies
SI® inserts from PennEngineering® permanently install in plastic assemblies to provide durable and reusable metal threads for mating hardware and allow for repeated disassembly and re-attachment whenever required. By promoting quick and easy access to an assembly, SI inserts offer highly practical joining solutions in contrast to fixed and unyielding methods, such as adhesives or rivets. Repeated reuse will not damage the strong metal threads or compromise attachment integrity. Types include brass inserts and lead-free stainless steel and aluminum versions.
Applications include plastic equipment or components for the medical, automotive, aerospace, transportation, and recreational industries, among many others.
All SI inserts install permanently in plastic, offer unique features, and can be classified generally by installation method. Depending on series, inserts can either be ultrasonically pressed and/or heat staked, molded-in during the injection molding process, or cold pressed into a pre-molded or drilled hole.
SI inserts can be specified in unified or metric thread sizes and in a variety of designs and lengths – including SI microPEM® inserts with threads as small as M1.
Detailed specifications, fastener drawings and 3D models, and performance data (Bulletin SI) for these RoHS-compliant fasteners can be viewed and downloaded for free PennEngineering’s website.

Plaskolite is excited to introduce theirnew website. Not only did we improve search options, we also implemented a mobile-friendly layout and reduced the number of clicks so you can access key information even faster.
With a streamlined user experience and navigational searches by product category, material, brand or end use, Plaskolite.com now enables visitors to quickly and easily find information on thermoplastic properties, safety data sheets, and other useful information to help make an informed product decision.
“We needed a website that captures the innovation and expansion we've made, but more importantly, our new site makes sure our customers can easily find what they need and learn what else is new,” said Dan Draper, marketing director, Plaskolite.
Check out the OPTIX-L section of the new site and learn more about why designers, retailers and manufacturers all rely on the material’s polished aesthetic and high-performance characteristics.
Their EcoShade™ reflective sheet reduces heat transmitted through windows and skylights in the summer and also eliminates heat loss in winter?
Their continuous cast acrylic, made with Lucite® International monomer for superior clarity, reflects more than 75 percent of infrared radiation present in sunlight. Specifically designed for skylights, windows, doors and partitions, OPTIX-L EcoShade can also lower energy costs for your clients.
Features and benefits include iridescent effect that complements modern design architecture, it transforms from serene blue to glistening gold based on the angle of light, it is lighter and more durable than glass, protects furniture and design elements from fading and is perfect for retail/P.O.P. displays, but can also be used for sophisticated interior design, among many other applications.
