IAPD Honors Randy Kirkpatrick
The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturer of performance plastics, has named Randy Kirkpatrick its 2018 Paul Davis Award of Merit recipient.
On behalf of IAPD and the plastics distribution industry, Kirkpatrick received the prestigious Paul Davis Award of Merit for 2018 at IAPD's 62nd Annual Convention and Plastics Showcase in Washington D.C., USA. Presented by past award winner Jane Saale of Cope Plastics, Inc., Kirkpatrick was honored for his many years of support to the association and the plastics industry.
When IAPD created the Paul Davis Award of Merit, it was to recognize leadership in the industry and association and a long term, evidenced commitment to improving both. But the character of the person and the relationships and reputation they develop within the industry also play a part in being awarded the Paul Davis Award of Merit. This award is meant for someone like Randy Kirkpatrick, of Artek, Inc.
Kirkpatrick's volunteer resume with IAPD is impressive. It includes two terms on the Board of Directors, chair of the Manufacturers' Council, co-chair of the Distributors and Manufacturers Council Subgroup, the Marketing Committee co-chair and now as an integral part of the Membership Committee. He's generous with his time and expertise when it comes to helping IAPD and supporting the performance plastics industry. He has worked hard to promote the ideal partnerships between distributors and manufacturers.
Kirkpatrick's enthusiasm and dedication to the industry and association haven't waned throughout the years, as he continues to offer his time and energy whenever asked or when he recognizes a need he can fill.
