LATE BREAKING NEWS

Curbell Opens New Facility in Chicago Area
Curbell Plastics, Inc., one of the nation’s top suppliers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, tapes, and fabricated parts, has moved their Chicago operations to a new, larger location in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Among the changes, the new location provides twice the storage space with a larger warehouse that houses increased inventory and more customer-specific materials.

“It’s a more functional warehouse,” said Dallas McLaughlin, Regional Director. “The improved functionality offers efficiencies that will help us service our industrial and orthotic and prosthetic customers’ growing needs.”

In addition, the new space allows for future growth and improved fabrication capabilities. The new location, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, has increased access to major expressways and the company’s growing Wisconsin and Midwest markets.

Curbell Plastics grew into one of the nation’s top plastic materials suppliers by investing for the long term and focusing foremost on the needs of its customers - a strategy that has set the company apart since its founding in 1942.

Curbell Films Moves

Curbell Plastics has also moved their film conversion operations into a new state-of-the-art facility in Raynham, Massachusetts. As the most recent move in their growing nationwide presence, Curbell Films relocated to a brand-new facility with an improved racking system and other amenities. The new layout allows for a larger inventory of thin gauge materials to shorten product lead times and conversion turnaround.

Curbell Films New England Operations Manager, Douglas Mauro, looks forward to the experience new and existing customers will have. “I’m excited for the future for all of our customers,” Mauro said. “This new facility doubles the space and removes old capacity constraints that had squeezed us in the past. We look forward to exceeding customer expectations from this new building.” Curbell Films New England provides conversion services such as sheeting, slitting, and guillotining for industrial applications, printing and graphics needs, and more.
