EMBEDDED ANTIBACTERIAL PROTECTION
A multi-million dollar ad campaign marks the first time an antibacterial ingredient will be advertised to the consumer and trade communities. Antibacterial protection is incorporated into a wide range of items in Sainsbury's stores, including food preparation surfaces, employee uniforms, food containers and food handling equipment on meat, bakery and delicatessen counters, to further help inhibit the growth of bacteria before shoppers bring products home.
According to a recent CBS news poll, 65% of Americans are more conscious about germs now than a few years ago, and 52% are going out of their way to specifically buy those products that contain antibacterial ingredients.
