INCREASE IN CAPACITY FOR POLYCARBONATE FILM
To help meet growing demand for Makrofol® polycarbonate film, Bayer Corporation's Polymers Division has increased capacity and added production capabilities at its Berlin, CT facility. A new extrusion line, featuring the latest technologies from both Germany and the U.S. produces Makrofol DE1-1D polycarbonate film. Polycarbonate films are proven performers in film insert molding, screen-printing and thermoforming. The films offer high light transmission, excellent surface uniformity and ease of processing. Films are also available in a variety of surface textures as well as glass-clear, polished surfaces.
