GREENHOUSE FILM
Dureflex thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), greenhouse film was designed to provide better clarity and toughness than polyethylene at a lower cost than glass. Its clarity approaches that of glass. The TPU film experiences only minimal discoloration as it ages, carries a 10-year graduated warranty against deterioration due to exposure from ultra-violet light. The film also has good insulation properties and offers high flame-retardance; excellent heat seal characteristics and temperature stability; drip control; lasts longer than competitive films because the additive impregnates the TPU film, becoming part of its chemical structure. In addition to roofing and walls, the TPU film has the potential for use in other greenhouse applications, like shade systems and partitioned walls.
