IF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM, JOIN 'EM
North Wood Plastics is exploring using combination of sawdust type wood products with various types of plastic to produce extruded sheet products for automotive applications. Currently it is reported that there are 30 million pounds used in the United States for automotive applications, most of it being molded product. Other uses for wood filled plastics would include pallets and other material handling products.
