VOC-FREE ADHESIVE
The latest addition to IPS Corporation's line of Weld-On(r) adhesives is VOC-free Weld-0n(r) 56. A high-strength, epoxy-based adhesive, it is recommended for use in the sign industry, especially for bonding high-density polyurethane foam such as "Sign Foam."
Displaying outstanding impact strength and flexibility, it bonds a wide variety of rigid materials, such as PVC, aluminum, brass and steel to themselves, as well as to several other substrates and, in addition, contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is environmentally safe.
"We feel the most important benefit of Weld-On(r) 56 is its ability to form high-strength bonds between dissimilar substrates, creating reliable bonds between materials such as unanodized aluminum and rigid PVC," said Gene Hopkins, Sales Manager.
Weld-On(r) 56 comes packaged in an easy-to-use cartridge that fits a standard dispensing gun. A static mixing nozzle mixes the exact 1:1 proportion of resin and catalyst as the adhesive is dispensed from the tip. IPS Corporation now packages several of its Weld-On(r) adhesive products in user-friendly cartridges and tubes, rather than in conventional cans, bottles and jars.
