LIVING HINGE
Ark-Plas Products has expanded its range of extruded offerings to include a new line of polypropylene strip that can be used as an inexpensive hinge. The hinge is a 1" wide strip with a single groove running down the center of the strip, it is easily bent along the grooved portion allowing the strip to be used as a hinge. The hinge can be attached using common tacks, nails, screws, rivets or staples. No special tools or skills are required and can be cut to length using common scissors. Available in natural polypropylene on 100 foot rolls. The living hinge can replace expensive metal hinges in many applications.
