BLACK TO CLEAR TO BLACK FILM
Research Frontiers, Incorporated announced that is has invented a new type of black-colored particle which can be used in the company's electrically controllable films whose light transmission can be rapidly varied between dark and clear states. These films utilize the company's SPD (suspended particle device) technology, which enables the user to automatically or manually regulate the amount of light transmitted through windows, sun visors, skylights, flat panel displays and other products virtually instantaneously. This uniquely designed film can also be placed between two panes of plastic and can be used in both exterior and interior applications.
