24 MILES OF DUCTING
U-Nova Plastics, Richmond Hill, ON, shipped 120,000 feet of extruded ducting during its first six months (January - June 1998). Projections are for 500,000 feet by year end. The ducting is produced from thermoplastic rubber, polyvinyl chloride, and urethane. Two hours before extrusion, pellets are dried to remove microscopic drops of water. This super-drying is one way they insure quality in their extruded ducting/hose products.
