HEAT STABILIZED BLUE CAST NYLON
HYD-CAST H.S. BLUE (heat stabilized) cast nylon has a specialized pigment package with improved heat stabilization and U.V. resistance. H.S. BLUE meets the requirements of ASTM D5989-96 SPA0231 for heat stabilized monomer cast nylon 6 shapes. It is offered in a wide variety of stock shapes and sizes. In rod, the diameters range from 2" to 12"; slab thicknesses are offered from 1/4" to 4"; and tube is available in ODs from 2" to 40" in multiple ID combinations. It is shock resistant and offers excellent wear properties and chemical resistance. The improved heat and U.V. resistance makes it ideal for many industrial applications, including load spread plates for mobile cranes, wear strips, chain guides, and chain rollers.
