FABRICATOR EXPANDS
Renovations and expansion of the manufacturing and administrative facilities at the Harva Company can more than double production volume, company President, Susan K. McGiver, announced. Harva, founded in 1949, is a manufacturer of fabricated plastic parts, with state-of-the art facilities for plastics thermoforming, precision machining, assembly, silk screening, die cutting and stamping. The firm serves such clients as IBM, Eastman Kodak, Lockheed-Martin and others. The original building is housed in a former carriage barn more than 200 years old. The building's unique character has been carefully maintained with each subsequent addition to the facility. "Our programs for employees are among the top reasons for our continued success," said McGiver. The average tenure of a Harva Company employee is now more than 12 years.
