COMPANY REALIGNS MANAGEMENT
M. A. Hanna Company announced that its Board of Directors has approved a realignment of the company's top management to implement a major profit improvement plan. As part of this realignment, Garth W. Henry, Senior Vice President of International Operations, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Worldwide Plastics. He will now be responsible for the company's North American plastics business in addition to his current responsibilities for European and Asian operations. The U.S. shapes distribution business will reduce its staffing levels by about 4% as it gains efficiencies through the implementation of a new distribution and customer service system.
