AIR-POWERED HAND TOOLS CUT ROD AND TUBING
A full line of ergonomic hand tools for cutting plastic rod and tubing, without repeated manual squeezing, is available from Simonds, Inc. The PGC-Series plastic cutters feature a wide variety of power packs and cutting jaw sets for handling plastic rod and tubing up to 1" O.D. These air-powered hand tools eliminate manual squeezing and can operate at up to 60 strokes-per-minute, and provide up to 5,000 lbs. of cutting forces. The cutters are trigger actuated and can also be supplied with an optional foot switch or solenoid for robotic operation.
