The Unisert II(tm) from Engineered Inserts & Systems Inc. can be installed into both a standard industry tapered or straight hole in sizes under #10-32. Automation is made easier since orientation of the insert is no longer a determining factor of speed in production. Installation time and residual stress is reduced because of knurls and undercuts designed to accommodate the displaced material.-Inventory will be greatly reduced as only one style is required for both hole configurations.
