PHENOLIC GRATING
The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a Certificate of Approval for Duragrid(r) Phenolic Grating and it is now accepted for use in fire retardant locations where previously only steel grating could be used. The grating has been used on Tension Leg Platforms and Semi-Deepwater Conversions for weight reduction, fire resistance, low smoke rating and durability. It offers the added advantages of corrosion resistance, low maintenance, and easy installation.
