CUSTOM PROFILE EXTRUSIONS
A new brochure from World Plastic Extruders, Inc. outlines the company's capabilities for producing custom profile extrusions. They produce a wide variety of shapes and sizes for packaging and mailing tubes, point-of-purchase displays, and industrial applications, including weather stripping, clear PVC gasketing, raceways for encasing electrical wiring, light diffusers and other lighting products. The company offers a range of material and resin choices, including styrenes, cellulosics, polyethylenes, polypropylene, polycarbonate, and other materials. Tubular profiles are available in round, square, rectangular, hexagonal, "D" shape and more. World Plastic has the capability to do co-extrusions or secondary operations, and there are over 100 stock tools available. Custom extrusions have been produced with wall thickness from 0.020" to 3/16", height from 1/8" to 4" and widths to 24".
