ROLL LIFTING
The Expand-O-Turn(tm) is a manual operated core expander for handling paper and film rolls with 3" or 6" cores. Roll weights up to 175 lbs. of varying dimensions can be picked up from vertical position at floor level and deposited in the horizontal position at random heights. The core expander is mounted to a swivel plate for easy "Turn" of the roll from the vertical to horizontal plain. It is lowered into the roll core and the "Expand" handle is activated to close and safely lock the roll in place. The roll is raised, and with the "Turn" handle the roll is rotated 90 degrees to a horizontal position. When roll is in the proper unload position the core expander handle is opened. The roll then rests on a set of skate wheels for easy manual forward transfer to machine spindle, storage area, etc.
