In tests of elasticity, mechanical resiliency, wear, frictional properties, only melt-processible rubber exhibited the linear stress/strain performance characteristics of rubber, providing outstanding flexibility and the true soft feel and appearance of a quality rubber. It also outperformed soft TPEs in durability and weatherability, abrasion resistance, high coefficient of friction, chemical and oil resistance, and environmental resistance.
