ROUTING/ROBOTS MERGE
FANUC Robotics North America, Inc. and Robotic Production Technology (RPT) have formed an operating agreement for the supply of robotic routering systems to the North American industrial marketplace. Under the terms of the agreement, RPT will be FANUC's exclusive supplier of all non-metallic routering robot systems to the market, and RPT will use products exclusively within the routering market. In addition, tools developed by the two companies will be available exclusively through RPT for non-metallic routering applications, and through FANUC Robotics for other process applications. This is the second operating agreement between FANUC and RPT, which currently have a similar agreement for the supply of waterjet cutting systems.
