RECYCLED RR CROSS TIES
North American Technologies Group, Inc. announced the receipt of a purchase order from Union Pacific Railroad for 1,200 of its TieTek Composite Railroad Crossties. Union Pacific will use the construction of a new railyard in Spring, Texas. With this order, NATK will have shipped 4,500 TieTek Crossties to six separate customers. Together, these orders launch a new product to the broad market for commercial use. The TieTek Technology uses a combination of recycled plastics from grocery bags, rubber from discarded tires and other waste materials that are otherwise difficult to recycle.
