LUBRICATED CAST NYLON
NYLAWEAR(r) lubricated cast nylon from A. L. Hyde offers an excellent alternative to metals and metallics for bushings, pulleys, rollers, timing screws, gears, and other components used in a variety of industrial products. The outstanding bearing properties make it useful for wide ranging applications requiring low wear rate, low friction, and the capability to endure high pressure velocity (PV) conditions. It also demonstrates outstanding wear characteristics at elevated temperatures imposed by frictional heating or adverse environments. A solid lubricant enhances product performance.
NYLAWEAR(r) has been utilized in a diverse range of industries from construction to food processing. For example, heavy equipment manufacturers have specified this product for its outstanding wear resistance in boom pads and thrust washer applications subjected to high loads and aggressive environments. Other applications include: hose pulleys for hydraulic hose take-ups in cranes, backhoes, excavators, etc.; boomrollers in telescoping equipment such as cranes, fire (ladder) trucks, etc.; chain rollers for forklifts; and scrolls, timing screws or starwheels in material handling equipment.
