POLYETHYLENE FOAM
Sealed Air Corp. announced Stratocel(tm) laminated polyethylene foam plank and CelluPlank(tm) polyethylene foam. These polyethylene foams are designed to meet a broad range of applications. The laminated polyethylene foam plank, a multi-layer plank made up of laminated 1/2" thick layers, is an innovative light density polyethylene foam. Formerly named Sealed Air(r) Polylam(r). Stratocell(tm) laminated polyethylene foam plank includes 120, 170 and 220 light-to-medium density products ranging in thickness from 1" to 5". It is available in sizes up to 48" wide x 108" long. The polyethylene foam, a thick, single-layer extruded foam plank formerly known as Sealed Air(r) Extruded Plank, is perfect for heavier applications requiring shock absorption, vibration dampening, thermal insulation or sound deadening. A range of medium-to-heavy density products are available--170, 220, 400, 600 and 900.
