CORROSION-INHIBITING FILM
When it's essential that large, expensive metalworking equipment arrive at its destination corrosion-free, many manufacturers choose Daubert VCI polyethylene film to protect their valuable cargo. The large equipment pictured above was packaged in Clear Pak(r) 2000 film before being put inside a custom-made wood crate and loaded onto a ship headed for the Far East. The film - 20 feet wide and 8 mil thick - helped prevent corrosion while the machine was in transit and in storage. The film is available 1-8 mil thick, in sheets, rolls, envelopes and other shapes. Daubert VCI recently introduced a second type of Clear Pak film, CP3000, which is specifically blended for multi-metal applications.
