Zebra Technologies Corporation introduced two enhanced Stripe(r) Series bar code printers with more memory, faster throughput and more connectivity choices. The Stripe Series S400 and S600 printers offer auto-calibration that automatically senses the size of the loaded label, eliminating the need for user intervention or manual configuration, connectivity with both serial and parallel interfaces and ZPL/ZPL II compatibility and internal color-coded operator "cues" that clearly identify user controls. The enhanced Stripe Series includes up to eight megabytes (8MB) of flash memory enabling users to download firmware and providing them with greater storage capacity for label formats.
