HIGH SPEED SPINDLE
IBAG North America has introduced their new HFK 90S-40 "Plug & Go" high speed spindle system for machining in a wide range of materials. Rated at 3 hp and providing a spindle speed range of 4,000-40,000 rpm, the unit is adaptable to any existing 40 or 50 ISO or CAT taper machine. The system includes a compact spindle and high frequency drive, a refrigerated cooling system, a spindle bearing lubrication system, an air management unit, and a mobile steel enclosure. Its compact design makes it able to fit down into parts to accomplish fine detail milling, engraving, fine drilling, and other high speed cutting operations in plastics and composites.
