NORTON TO PURCHASE NPT
Norton Performance Plastics announced it has signed an agreement to purchase Sybron International corporation's Nalge Process Technologies Group, known as NPT. NPT manufactures fluoropolymer-lined hose systems; flexible sanitary systems of silicone and rubber; rigid ultra-pure plastic piping systems; silicone tubing and assemblies; high performance plastic tubing, pipe and specialty profiles; as well as plastic tanks for industrial and pharmaceutical use. NPT will be integrated into Norton's Fluid Systems Business providing a complementary fit with current markets, products, and the Fluid System's recent acquisition of Sil-Med Corporation, Taunton, MA.
