DECORATIVE FILMS
Coburn Corporation offers a wide variety of unique surfacing films. Their films are primarily based on thermoplastic polymers such as rigid PVC, acrylic, or polycarbonate. Rigid PVC gives the best balance of properties. When high temperatures or demanding exterior applications present a challenge, polycarbonate and acrylic, respectively, are recommended. All their products can be ordered in fire resistant versions. The PVC and acrylic films can be thermally die cut and all can be printed with standard inks or hotstamped. Products are based on a clear transparent, weatherable self-adhesive on 150 lb. "K", 150 lb. "K.O." or "K.H.". The unique properties of their films give an "under-glass" effect, a second surface provides a smooth top for clean sharp lined printing. The colors are an integral part of the film so they can not be scratched or abraded off.
